Plants and shrubs from the garden of the world. The temporary garden has been designed to be set up in the assigned area, near the northern side of the Church of St. Francis of the thirteenth century, close to a chapel and an open chapel, dating in the fifteenth century. The garden follows the perimeter of the church and overlooks the Piazza Garibaldi, creating a strong visual relationship and becoming a new point of reference for people who can use the brick floors edges for seating. The garden is designed as a harmonious space but also as a place where people can stop for a moment along their path, to go beyond the vision of colors and shapes, and feel the gentle sound of water and the scent of flowers. The space is decorated with special marble elements, in which the material seems to lose its consistency, to take softness and weightless, which interact with the natural elements, modeling itself to contain flowering plants or creating special sittings. The different characteristics of plants and shrubs used recall the gardens around the world. The areas for the plants and flowers are bounded and at a height lower than the turf, thereby re-creating an effect similar to a drawing of abstract stains of color. Shrubs near water and stains of flowers bring to the idea of peace and admiration for a shimmering nature in continuous transformation.
