Serge Bontorin was born in Chambery (France)of italian nationality. After joining the University Institute of Architecture in Venice, he graduated in 1983 with a thesis in meta-design of urban spaces and organization of housing types. Qualified to work as an architect in 1984, Serge joined the Order of Architects in 1985 and since 1987 works in his own studio in Bassano del Grappa
Elena Torelli graduated from the University Institute of Architecture in Venice in 1991 with a thesis entitled “Marostica. From the Lower Castle to the Upper Castle. Revisiting urban places of the historical center” with supervisor professor Arrigo Rudi. In 1994 he qualified for the profession and enrolled the Architects albo of the district of Vicenza. Since 1994 he holds, with Serge Bontorin, the study Serge Bontorin & Elena Torelli architects.
